Back in June 2020, Randy got invited up to Riverside Pizza in Nenana, Alaska, to attempt their undefeated 10-11lb “Garbage Can” Pizza Challenge. Randy needed a partner for the challenge, and he didn’t want to go all the way up & over to Alaska just for a quick weekend. He needed to invite someone who would be available for a ~10-day tour and willing to road-trip all around Alaska to attempt 4-6 other food challenges too. He slid into the Facebook DM’s of Katina DeJarnett, a fellow YouTuber (Katina Eats Kilos) and professional eater who he hadn’t met or collaborated with before. Thankfully, she said yes and joined him for the full 9-day tour, attempting 5 different food challenges alongside him for their channels.
After nine fun, scenic, caloric, and eventually romantic 🥰 days together in a rental car driven over 3,000 miles, Katina mysteriously “forced” Randy to ask her to be his girlfriend. After a few days of playing hard to get, she said yes and they’ve been together ever since. Randy and Katina now live in Forest Hills (South Nashville), Tennessee. They got engaged in December 2024 and will be getting married on this upcoming October 10, 2026 (10/10/2026). The wedding will be in the St. Louis, Missouri area and the honeymoon will take place somewhere in Greece!! Katina has a Bachelor of Education in Kinesiology & Physical Education from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She also has plenty of experience with nutrition, fitness, and weight management as a professional eater. She will be helping Randy with everything he is working on, and they are very appreciative of everyone who watches and supports them both!!
